Description: Returns the natural logarithm of the gamma function, G(x).
Syntax: GAMMALN(x)
x is the value for which you want to calculate GAMMALN.
Remarks:
x must be a number.
x must be greater than 0.
The number e^GAMMALN(i), where i is an integer, returns the same result as (i - 1)!
GAMMALN is calculated as follows:
where:
When used in a RENO flowchart, x must evaluate to a numerical value. It can include:
Numerical values
Standard operands (+, -, *, /)
Predefined mathematical functions (exp, log, sin, etc.)
References to any analysis workbooks
Example:
GAMMALN(4) = 1.791759
