Surface Plot Setup: Surface Page

The Surface page allows you to customize the appearance of the projection, surface and base components of the surface plot, as labeled below.

The Style drop-down lists let you choose between different styles for each of the three components.

• The Lines and Bands styles are illustrated in the above image and are available for all components.

• The Solid style is available for the surface and base components.

• • Choosing this style for the surface component will make it appear like a flat white sheet.

  • Choosing it for the base will make the region below the surface appear like a solid white object.

The Show Wireframe option displays grid lines on the surface component of the plot. You can use the Color box and input field to specify the color and thickness of the lines.
