Insert Tab

The Insert tab contains commands related to adding items to a project.

Wizard

  Project Item Wizard opens the Project Item Wizard which provides information about all the analyses that you could add to the project and guides you through any steps required to configure the analysis that you have selected.

DOE

  Add Standard Design adds a standard design folio for identifying important factors (i.e., "screening") and determining the best settings for these factors (i.e., "optimization").

  Add Robust Design adds a robust design folio that includes all the functionality of the standard design folio, with the addition of some features specific to the robust design methodology.

Tools

  Add Free Form adds a free form folio that allows you to analyze data from an experiment by manually entering the factor level combination and observed response for each test run.

  Add Multiple Linear Regression adds a new blank Multiple Linear Regression Tool to the project, allowing you to enter and analyze your own experimental data without using one of the design types provided in the software.

  Add One-Way ANOVA adds a one-way ANOVA folio that offers a simple way to evaluate the effect of a single factor on a single response.

  Measurement Systems Analysis

1. • Add Linearity and Bias adds a linearity & bias folio that is used to estimate a measuring device's accuracy (i.e., the extent to which the device underestimate or overestimates, across the device's expecting operating range).

   • Add Gage R&R adds a gage R&R folio that is used to estimate a measurement system's precision (i.e., the variation in measurements that can be expected when the same part is measured repeatedly).

   • Add Gage Agreement adds a gage agreement folio is used to compare the accuracy and precision of two systems.

Optimizations

  Add Optimization opens the Select Optimization Tool window. which provides tools that allow you to examine factor level combinations and evaluate how well they meet your response goal(s).

Reports and Plots

  Add Spreadsheet adds a new blank spreadsheet to the current project.

  Add Analysis Report adds an analysis report that includes any of the applicable analysis results and/or plots offered by DOE++.

  Add Overlay Plot adds an overlay plot to the project that allows you to display in a single plot results from multiple data sheets. This provides an easy visual method to compare analyses. For example, you may wish to show the growth plots of two product designs in the same plot.

  Add Side-By-Side Plot adds a side-by-side plot to the project allowing you to display different plots of a single data set all in a single window for easy comparison.

Attachments

  Attachment adds linked or attached files to the project.

Simulation Worksheets

   Add Simulation Worksheet allows you to add a new simulation worksheet to the project and then manually enter the desired factor values.
