Copy/Paste/Delete Analyses

Now in Version 11, MPC makes it easy to copy and paste analyses both within a project and between projects in the same database. This applies for functional failure analyses (F-F-E-C tab), structural analyses (ED, AD and FD/SL tabs) and zonal analyses (Zonal and L/HIRF tabs).

Copy/Paste an Analysis

To copy an analysis, right-click the tab in the Analysis panel and choose Copy Analysis.

To paste the analysis for a different item, right-click the tab in the Analysis panel and choose Paste Analysis.

Functional Failure Analyses (F-F-E-C Tab)

The item must either be an MSI or be eligible to be marked as an MSI to be eligible to paste a copied analysis.
Pasting appends the copied F-F-E-C records to the existing F-F-E-C records, if any exist.

Structural Analyses (ED, AD and FD/SL Tabs)

The structural item must have at least one SSI selection question set to “Yes” to be eligible to paste a copied analysis.
If an analysis of a given type already exists for the structural item, then you cannot paste another analysis of the same type.

Zonal Analyses (Zonal and L/HIRF Tabs)

You can paste a standard zonal analysis to any zonal item.
The zonal item must have the appropriate zonal analysis recommendation to be eligible to paste a copied enhanced zonal analysis or L/HIRF analysis.
If an analysis of a given type already exists for the zonal item, then you cannot paste another analysis of the same type.

Delete an Analysis

To delete an analysis, right-click the tab in the Analysis panel and choose Delete Analysis. (Remember there is no undo for delete.)
