The Siemens SN 29500 standard provides reliability prediction models for electronic and electromechanical components. It consists of 12 sections, which provide expected values as follows:

Section 2: Integrated circuits (issued September 2010)
Section 3: Discrete semiconductors (issued June 2009)
Section 4: Passive components (issued March 2004)
Section 5: Electrical connections, electrical connectors and sockets (issued June 2004)
Section 7: Relays (issued November 2005)
Section 9: Switches and buttons (issued November 2005)
Section 10: Signal and pilot lamps (issued December 2005)
Section 11: Contactors (issued April 2015)
Section 12: Optical components (issued February 2008)
Section 15: Electromechanical protection devices in low voltage networks (issued October 2014)
Section 16: Electromechanical pushbuttons, signaling devices and position switches in low voltage networks (issued August 2010)
