Prediction Folios

The Lambda Predict prediction folio is the main window you will use to perform your standards based reliability predictions. Note that in addition to standards based reliability predictions, the prediction folio also supports two other types of analyses: reliability allocation and derating.

• Creating a prediction folio.

• Building a system configuration, including:

• • Adding components.

  • Using linked blocks to represent duplicate systems or assemblies in the system hierarchy.

• Defining item properties.

• Displaying the results of the analysis in the prediction folio, and generating plots and reports.

• Sharing analyses data with other ReliaSoft applications, including:

• • Publishing models from failure rate predictions, if desired.

  • Building RBDs from system configuration data in Lambda Predict.

  • Importing from Lambda Predict to XFMEA/RCM++/RBI.
