The Block Corner Indicators pages of the Diagram Style window allow you to customize the appearance of status indicators that are displayed at the corners of blocks. Such indicators include the colored boxes that are used to indicate certain block and text labels that may appear independently or in conjunction with a box. The available Block Corner Indicators pages will vary depending on the type of diagram that you are working with.
In RBDs, you can modify the following indicators:
Block belongs to a maintenance group: Indicated by a marker at the upper left corner of the block. Clicking the indicator opens the Maintenance Group Manager.
Mirrored block: Indicated by a marker at the lower left corner of the block. A label indicating the name of the mirror group that the block belongs to is also displayed at the lower left corner. Clicking the indicator opens the Mirror Group Manager.
Block with state change triggers (SCT) enabled: Indicated by a marker at the lower right corner of the block.
In fault trees, you can modify the following indicators:
Block belongs to a maintenance group: Indicated by a marker at the upper left corner of the block. Clicking the indicator opens the Maintenance Group Manager.
Mirrored block: Indicated by a marker at the lower left corner of the block. A label indicating the name of the mirror group that the block belongs to is also displayed at the lower left corner. Clicking the indicator opens the Mirror Group Manager.
Gate/Event result: Reliability or unreliability results at the block level can be displayed at the upper right of each block in an analytical fault tree by selecting the Show Results option in the control panel.
Block with state change triggers (SCT) enabled: Indicated by a marker at the lower right corner of the block.
In phase diagrams, you can modify the following indicator:
Maintenance phase: Indicated by a marker at the upper left corner of the block.
In flowcharts, you can modify the following indicator:
Conditional formatting: Indicated by a marker at the upper left corner of the block.
For each type of indicator marker, the following properties are customizable:
The marker size, in inches. This property is managed via the Diagram Style window for all indicator marker types. Note that for conditional formatting, this is the only property that can be customized.
The background color, fill color and fill style. The background color is the underlying color applied to the marker; the fill color is applied over the background color in the pattern specified by the fill style. These properties are managed via the Diagram Style window for SCT markers and for maintenance phase markers. For maintenance group markers, the settings are specific to the maintenance group and therefore are managed by clicking the Indicator Style icon in the Maintenance Group Manager; similarly, for mirror group markers, they are managed via the Mirror Group Manager.
The style (e.g., solid, dash, etc.), color and thickness of the marker border.
For the mirror group label and the gate result, you can customize the color and font used for the text.
