The free form folio allows you to analyze data for traditional and reliability DOE by manually entering the factor level combinations and observed response values from a prior experiment. After you designate columns for factors and responses, you can then analyze the data in much the same way that it is analyzed on the Data tab of a design folio. You can also use this folio to perform predictions and optimize responses.
Note: In general, the free form folio is useful for analyzing existing data, rather than planning an experiment. (In Version 1, the File Import Wizard was available for analyzing existing data.) To plan an experiment, use the design folio.
To add a free form folio to your project, choose Insert > Designs > Free Form.
