Bounds on Time Given Failure Intensity

Description: Returns the 1-sided bound at the specified confidence level on the time corresponding to the specified cumulative/instantaneous failure intensity.

Field Format: [BOUNDSTIMEFI(Source Number)(FI;Type;Conf_Level)]

Source Number is the associated data source number.

FI is the value of the failure intensity at which the time is calculated.
Type is an index number (0 to 1) that returns the following information:
- 0 = returns the instantaneous failure intensity
- 1 = returns the cumulative failure intensity

Conf_Level is the percentage (entered as a decimal value) for the confidence bounds. It is an optional value and, if specified, must be greater than 0 and less than 1.

Remarks:

The Source Number must be either 1,2,3 or 4.

Example:

[BOUNDSTIMEFI(1)(0.574;0;0.9)]

Returns:

969.8275141
