Description: Returns the 1-sided bound at the specified confidence level on the specified parameter.
Field Format: [BOUNDSPARAMETER_M(Source Number)(Param_Index;System_Index;Conf_Level)]
Source Number is the associated data source number.
Param_Index is a numerical value that allows you to specify which parameter value to display. The index values and the information they return depend on the model you are working with. (Note that the Standard and Modified Gompertz models do not have parameter bounds):
For the Crow AMSAA (NHHP), Crow Extended, Crow Extended - Continuous Evaluation and Power Law models, the index values are
1 = Beta
2 = Eta or Lambda, depending on the parameter you selected in the Calculations page of the Application Setup.
For the Duane model, the index values are:
1 = Alpha
2 = parameter "A" or "b", depending on the parameter you selected in the Calculations page of the Application Setup.
For the Lloyd Lipow Model, the index values are:
1 = Alpha
2 = R
For the Logistic model, the index values are:
1 = b
2 = k
System_Index is an optional value that applies to multiple systems analysis. It allows you to return test results for individual systems, if enough data exists for the system. For example, to obtain the results for System 1, enter 1. If you do not enter a system ID, the function will return results for the representative system (i.e., the equivalent system, superposition system or cumulative timeline).
Conf_Level is the percentage (entered as a decimal value) for the confidence bounds. It is an optional value and, if specified, must be greater than 0 and less than 1.
Remarks:
The Source Number must be either 1,2,3 or 4.
Example:
[BOUNDSPARAMETER_M(1)(1;1;0.9)]
Returns:
1.0861000
Note that this value will vary depending on the source data set.
