Task Type Abbreviations in MPC

In MPC only, the task types defined for the database must be consistent with the task selection logic specified in the MSG-3 guidelines. This means that it is not possible to add or delete task types nor can the names be changed. However, because there is some variability among MSG-3 practitioners regarding the abbreviations used, the software does provide the option to modify the abbreviations, if desired. Users with the "Manage other repository settings" permission can open the Define Task Type Abbreviations window by choosing File > Manage Repository > Task Types.

• To edit a task type abbreviation, click inside the cell and edit the text.

• To change the order in which the task types are displayed in drop-down lists, select a row and click the Move Up or Move Down icon to move the task type into the desired position.
