There are two ways to create a plot in Lambda Predict. You can:
Select a standard item (i.e., , , , , or ) or block (i.e., or ) in the system hierarchy and choose Prediction Tools > Data Views > Plot Viewer.
The plot can then be saved with the project in the Stored Plots folder by clicking the Save icon. You will not, however, automatically be prompted to save the plot upon closing it, so if you do not manually save the plot, it will not be saved.
Choose Insert > Project Item > Plot to open the Select Top Level Items to Plot window.
At the top of the window, choose the prediction folio that you want to create the plot for. All standard items and blocks in the selected folio will be displayed. Select one or more items to be used in the plot. When you close a plot created in this way, you will automatically be prompted to enter a name for the plot so that it can be saved to the project's Stored Plots folder in the current project explorer.
Note: You can create plots with multiple top level items, as long as all items are within the same prediction.
After being saved for the first time, plots are available in the project's Stored Plots folder in the current project explorer and will be saved automatically each time they are closed.
Once you have created the plot, you can choose a new plot type and/or alter the plot settings using the options on the plot viewer control panel.
If you delete a prediction that is referenced by a stored plot, the plot will remain available, but you will not be able to make any changes to it.
