The User Login and Contact Information window allows you to view and edit the contact information for your own user account. If you have the "Manage users and logins" permission, you can also edit the information for any user account.
To view or edit your own user account, double-click your user name in the MDI status bar or choose My Portal > Users > My Profile.

In the User Login and Contact Information window, you can edit the following information:
User information. At minimum, you must supply your first name, last name, display name and e-mail address. Your display name will appear in all projects, analyses and plots you create or modify in the database. Click the Active Directory button if you wish to update your contact details based on information stored in Microsoft Active Directory for your account.
User image. You can associate a profile photo with your user account. Saved images are resized to 100 x 100 pixels.
If you have the "Manage users and logins" permission, you can also edit the following information for any user account. To edit an account, open the Manage Repository Security window (File > Manage Repository > Authorized Users) and then double-click the account name.
Domain and Username. Windows authentication uses an account’s domain and username to identify the user and give him/her access to the database.
Security groups(s). Security groups control the user's access to the database. (See Managing Security Groups.)
Alternative credentials. Select the check box on the Alternative Credentials tab to allow the user to bypass Windows authentication and connect to the database using an alternative username and password. (See Creating Alternative Credentials.)
Deactivate or Activate the account. Clear or select the Active check box to deactivate or activate the account. A deactivated account will not have access to the database.
