Lambda Predict provides easy-to-use utilities that allow you to search for existing component data and import them into your analysis. You can import component data from an existing analysis (whether from the current prediction folio, current database or in another database) or from custom library files.
Custom library files are database files that are saved on your computer or network. You can create custom library files to build lists of components that you frequently use in your analyses. They can be a great way to share knowledge, ensure consistency and save time on data entry.
If you have an active Internet connection, Lambda Predict also offers access to the PartLibraries.org database, which is a web-based library of commercial parts with properties that have been predefined by the manufacturer or supplier. You can search by category, part number, supplier, part name and/or part description, and then import the records that you need.
