Home Tab

The Home tab contains the following commands:

Clipboard

Paste pastes the contents of the Clipboard into the desired level in the current system hierarchy. Choose Paste as Same Level Item to paste the item at the same level as the currently selected item. Choose Paste As Next Level Item to paste the item under the currently selected item.

Cut cuts the selected text or graphic to the Clipboard. Data stored on the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.

Copy copies the selected text or graphic to the Clipboard. Data stored on the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications. If you are copying a plot, the way the plot is copied will depend on your selection in the Copy Plot Graphic setting in the Application Setup window.

Templates

Report Templates allows you to create a custom report template.

Import Templates opens an import template that is used for importing "bill of materials" (BOM) files into Lambda Predict.

Insert

Prediction Folio adds a new prediction folio to the project.

Plot opens the Plot Viewer, which allows you to create graphical charts based on the selected source data. (See Prediction Plots.)

Attachment adds linked or attached files to the project.

Hierarchy

Delete deletes the selected item or record and all associated data. There is no undo for delete.

Find searches the current system hierarchy for specified text/values. You can select whether to limit the result to text that have the same case (Match case) and/or limit the results to text that are identical to the search term (Match whole field only).

Move Up moves the currently selected record up within the system hierarchy.

Move Down moves the currently selected record down within the system hierarchy.

Synthesis

Resource Manager opens the Resource Manager window, which allows you to view and edit all of the resources (URDs, models, tasks, etc.) available to the selected project. This command is not available in MPC.

Synthesis Explorer allows you to explore all of the different analyses that are stored in the current database. You can filter, group and sort the analyses in a flexible grid, and also present the information in a wide variety of dashboard charts. (See Synthesis Explorer.)

Actions Explorer allows you to explore all of the action resources that are stored in the current database. You can filter and sort by date, status, person responsible, relevancy to you, etc. (See Actions Explorer.)

Batch Properties Editor opens the Batch Properties Editor, which allows you to perform batch editing of most types of local resources in the current project. In BlockSim, it also allows you to edit the blocks used in the diagrams. This command is not available in MPC.

Launch Application provides a drop-down list of the other ReliaSoft desktop applications that are installed on your computer. When you click an icon, the same database will be opened automatically in the new application.
