COS

Description: Returns the cosine of a number.

Syntax: COS(Number)

• Number is the angle in radians for which you want the cosine.

Remarks:

• If the angle is in degrees, multiply it by PI/180.

Example:

• COS(1.047) = 0.500171 [the cosine of 1.047 radians]
