The Simulation tab is visible when you are working with a simulation diagram, a phase diagram, a PFS diagram or a RENO flowchart.
Simulate
opens the Maintainability/Availability
Simulation window for simulation and phase diagrams,
the Process
Flow Simulation window
for PFS diagrams or the RENO
Simulation window, for flowcharts. These windows allow you to specify
simulation settings for the current diagram and run the simulation.
Simulation
Plot creates a plot based on the simulation results. Clicking Simulation Plot before the diagram
has been simulated will automatically perform the simulation and then
plot the data.
Simulation
QCP is available only when working with simulation diagrams and
phase diagrams. It opens the simulation
Quick Calculation Pad (QCP). The QCP allows you to obtain reliability,
maintainability and availability metrics based on the simulation results.
Clicking the QCP icon before the diagram has been simulated will automatically
perform the simulation and then open the QCP.
Debug
is available only when working with RENO flowcharts. It opens the RENO
Simulation Debugger, which allows you to trace and examine the output
of a flowchart by running a step-by-step simulation through each block.
Show Simulation
Details displays the most recently generated simulation results
in the Results Explorer.
Check Analysis
is available only when working with simulation diagrams and phase diagrams.
It allows you to check for inconsistencies in the simulation diagram,
such as a block with a corrective task but no failure model, or a block
with scheduled tasks but no corrective task.
Batch Mode
is available only when working with simulation diagrams and phase diagrams.
It opens the Batch Mode Simulation
window, which allows you to simulate multiple diagrams consecutively,
without user input in between simulation.
Publish Fitted
Model is available only when working with simulation diagrams.
It allows you to publish the distribution that has been fitted to the
simulated diagram as a model for use throughout
the project, in any ReliaSoft application where models are used. For more
on publishing, refer to the Publishing
Models topic.
Publish SEP Summary
publishes a summary of the current analysis to the SEP website. This is
available only when working with simulation diagrams (including phase
diagrams) or RENO flowcharts, and only if the enterprise database is configured
for SEP and you have the “Publish to Synthesis Enterprise Portal” permission
(see Publishing to SEP).
Dashboard Viewer is
available only when working with simulation diagrams and phase diagrams.
It opens the Dashboard Viewer, which
allows you to view the results from the current simulation in any of the
dashboard layouts that have been predefined in this database for this
type of data.
Dashboard Manager
is available only when working with simulation diagrams and phase diagrams,
and only if you have permission to create dashboard layouts. It opens
the Dashboard Manager, which allows
you to create and manage the dashboard layouts that will be available
for BlockSim simulation results.
