rv_uniform_discrete

Description: Returns the inverse of the uniform_discrete cumulative distribution for the given probability.

Syntax: rv_uniform_discrete(Probability, a, b)

Probability is the value of the distribution.
a is a parameter of the distribution.
b is a parameter of the distribution.

Remarks:

Probability must be numerical and > 0 and < 1.
a and b must be numerical.

All parameter values can include:

Numerical values
Standard operands (+, -, *, /)
Predefined mathematical functions (exp, log, sin, etc.)
RENO internal functions
RENO resources
References to any Synthesis Workbooks

Example:

rv_uniform_discrete(0.9, 1, 7)

Returns:

7.000000
