rv_students_t

Description: Returns the inverse of the student's t cumulative distribution for the given probability.

Syntax: rv_students_t(Probability, degrees_freedom)

Probability is the value of the distribution.
degrees_freedom is the number of degrees of freedom.

Remarks:

Probability must be > 0 and < 1.
degrees_freedom must be numerical and >= 0.

All parameter values can include:

Numerical values
Standard operands (+, -, *, /)
Predefined mathematical functions (exp, log, sin, etc.)
RENO internal functions
RENO resources
References to any Synthesis Workbooks

Example:

rv_students_t(0.49, 2)

Returns:

0.838491
