The Spare Part Pool Details worksheets in the Results Explorer display the details for each spare part pool assigned to the blocks in the diagram. Click the name of the spare part pool in the control panel to display the corresponding spare part pool details on a separate worksheet.
Dispensed
Parts Dispensed: The number of spare parts in the spare part pool that were dispensed during the simulation. Spares are required for corrective, preventive and on condition tasks.
Total Time to Dispense: The total time it took to dispense the spare parts from the spare part pool during the simulation. This is based on the logistic time for spare acquisition.
Average Time to Dispense: The average time it took to dispense the spare parts from the spare part pool during the simulation. This is based on the logistic time for spare acquisition.
Rejected & Emergency
Number of Emergency Requests: The number of emergency spare parts that were used from each spare part pool during the simulation time. Emergency acquisitions are initiated when the spare part pool is empty but a spare part is required for a task.
Rejected Requests: The number of spares required for corrective or preventive maintenance that were unavailable in the spare part pool. Therefore, no maintenance was performed.
Restock Details
Initial Stock Level: The number of spare parts that were in the pool at the beginning of the simulation.
Parts Restocked: The number of spare parts that were restocked in the pool during the simulation.
Average Stock Level: The average number of spare parts that were in the pool during the simulation.
Current Stock Level: The number of spare parts that were in the spare part pool at the end of the simulation.
Pool Costs
Total Pool Costs: The total cost for the spare part pool that was used during the simulation.
Indirect Pool Costs: The indirect costs of maintaining the spare parts in the pool over time. For example, if it costs $20 per month to keep each part available in the pool and the part remains in the pool for 3 months, then $60 of indirect costs have accumulated for the item.
Direct Pool Costs: The total direct cost for all spare parts dispensed from the spare part pool during the simulation.
Pool Costs per Part
Total Cost per Part: The total direct and indirect cost per part for the spare part pool over the duration of the simulation.
Indirect Cost per Part: The indirect cost per part of maintaining the spare parts in the pool over the duration of the simulation.
Direct Cost per Part: The direct cost per part for all spare parts dispensed from the pool over the duration of the simulation.
