Dependent Events

A dependent event is any event that leads to a standby, load sharing, priority AND or sequence enforcing gate. A dependent event has the appearance of the original event. For example, if you connect a conditional event to a load sharing gate, it will have the appearance of a conditional event. The only change will be the properties that are available in the Block Properties window.

For a dependent event leading to a standby, priority AND or sequence enforcing gate, the reliability/maintenance characteristics correspond to those of the contained standby block in an RBD. For a dependent event leading to a load sharing gate, the reliability/maintenance characteristics correspond to those of the contained load sharing block in an RBD.
