The Other page of the Application Setup is where you customize other features in the software.
Project
Select Show the Project Wizard when creating new projects to display a wizard that helps you select the first new diagram to create in a repository. If not selected, the new repository will be blank.
Select Ask to apply changes when selecting different block in Block Properties window to specify that a window will appear asking if you want to apply the changes you made to the active block when you select another block from the Active Block drop-down menu in the Block Properties window. If not selected, the changes will automatically be saved to the active block and the window will not appear when you select another block from the Active Block drop-down menu.
Select Ask to apply changes when using the Format Painter to display a window with the Format Painter that allows you to specify which settings will be applied to another block.
Select Show warning when changing the IBS status to display a warning message when you select or clear the Use IBS check box on the analysis settings page for analytical diagrams. If not selected, this warning message will not appear.
Select Show warning when an unused block is found in the maintenance template to display a warning message when you attempt to run a simulation on a phase diagram with an associated maintenance template that includes a block not used in any of the operational phases. If not selected, this warning message will not appear.
By default, when you have multiple blocks selected in a diagram and you add a connector to one of the selected blocks, the connection goes only to the block you place the connector on. To be prompted to add connections to all of the selected blocks, select the Ask for confirmation when connecting multiple blocks option.
To check for inconsistencies in a simulation diagram or fault tree prior to simulating the results, select the Check analysis for inconsistencies prior to simulation option.
Select the While QCP is open, have access to all folios option to lock the QCP in a top window position (i.e., non-modal) so it can remain open while you have access to all diagrams. The calculations performed in the QCP will be based on the currently active diagram. If not selected, you must close the QCP in order to return to the diagrams. This setting can also be changed from within the QCP by selecting or clearing the Non-Modal QCP option in the Options drop-down list.
Select Show warning when removing a resource to display a warning message when you attempt to remove a resource that is in use.
Select Show the Diagram Type window when changing the diagram type to display a window when changing a diagram's type (e.g., when changing a simulation diagram to an analytical diagram).
