Xfmea/RCM++/RBI provide three methods for performing Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). In the Synthesis version, users have the option to use the updated method (which is integrated directly into the FMRA and FMEA interfaces) or the original method (which has a dedicated utility that can be enabled via the Application Setup, if desired).
