Printing

To print an item from within a Synthesis desktop application, do the following:

1. Preview the item (Home > Print > Print Preview).

   • For diagrams in Weibull++, ALTA, BlockSim, RENO, Xfmea, RCM++ and RBI, you can also use the Print Layout option (Home > Print > Print Layout) to display the page boundary lines on the diagram. Everything within the boundary lines will appear on the printed page. You can use this to make any necessary adjustments before printing the diagram.

2. If everything looks fine, use the Print window (Home > Print > Print) to print the item.

• • If you want to change the way the printed page looks, use the Page Setup window (Home > Print > Page Setup) to adjust the settings, such as  the page orientation, page margins and header and footer.

  • After making these changes, print the item.

The available printing options will vary depending on the application and on the type of sheet, plot or diagram you are working with.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, the information in this section applies to all sheet types (i.e., data, diagram, plot and spreadsheet), as well as to workbooks and standalone plots and diagrams, as available depending on the application.

You can also print plots from RS Draw.
