The Header/Footer tab of the Page Setup window allows you to edit the header and footer for the printed page.
The Header and Footer sections of this window have similar customization options, as explained next.
Select Print Header or Print Footer to include the header/footer information when printing.
The Upper and Lower text fields on this tab display the format codes for different sections of the header and footer. For example, the Lower Center field contains the code(s) for the center of the footer.
The drop-down lists below the Upper/Lower text fields automatically set the format codes for every section of the header/footer.
Choose Custom if you want to create a custom header/footer format.
Click Set Font to specify the font properties to be used in the header or footer.
The toolbar on this tab allows you to quickly insert common format codes into the selected section of the header or footer. It contains the following tools:
Cut cuts the selected text to the Clipboard. Data stored in the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.
Copy copies the selected text to the Clipboard. Data stored in the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.
Paste pastes the contents of the Clipboard into the current control.
Date (&D) inserts the date.
Time (&T) inserts the time.
Page Number (&P) inserts the page number.
Number of Pages (&N) inserts the total number of pages.
Repository (&ZL) inserts the path to the current repository.
Project Name (&ZP) inserts the project name.
Sheet Name (&A) prints the sheet name. For diagrams in Xfmea/RCM++/RBI, this prints the diagram name. For diagrams in BlockSim/RENO and for plots in all applications, nothing will be inserted.
Item Name (&ZI) inserts the name of the active sheet, or the folio with which the active plot sheet or diagram is associated. This option does not apply to Xfmea/RCM++/RBI.
Application Name (&ZA) inserts the name of the Synthesis desktop application (e.g., Weibull++).
Company Name (&ZC) inserts the company name specified in the User Login and Contact Information window.
User Name (&ZU) inserts the user name specified in the User Login and Contact Information window.
