The FMEA Hierarchy page of the Application Setup allows you to specify settings for the FMEA hierarchy view. For descriptions of the available columns, refer to the FMEA Hierarchy View topic.
To move an option up or down in the list, select the row and click the up or down icon. You also can drag the row to the desired position in the list.
Expand hierarchy to this level by default allows you to choose whether to display all hierarchy levels or limit the default view to function, failure, effect or cause levels.
Default View allows you to choose from the hierarchical or worksheet view.
Nodes
To hide the Reliability Policy node in the FMEA analysis, select the Hide reliability policy node check box. Note that you can still work with the reliability policy by using the FMEA tab of the Ribbon.
Tip: You can also use the Customize Columns window to determine which fields will be displayed without having to open the Application Setup window. To open the window, right-click the column headers in the FMEA hierarchy, then click Customize Columns.
