

The Structures tab is visible when you are working on a structural analysis.
Add Structure(s) opens the Select
Structure(s) window where you select which of the predefined structures
to add.
Add SubStructure(s) opens the Select SubStructure(s)
window where you select which of the predefined substructures to add
under the structure that is currently selected.
Add SubSubStructure
adds a new sub-substructure to the substructure that is currently selected.
Add Structural Item adds a new structural
item.
Import Structures
opens the Import Structural
Hierarchy Items window where you can copy items from the current database
or from another database into the current project.
Up and
Down move the selected structural item
up or down in the structural hierarchy.
Item Permissions is
available only for secure databases. It allows you to prevent specific
users from editing the item and its related analyses. (See Item
Permissions,)
Attachments allows
you to manage the linked or attached files
for the selected item. This includes any Description
& Operation (D&O) documents that you want to integrate into
generated reports.
Configurable Options
opens the Configurable
Options window where you can customize some of the settings for the
environmental deterioration (ED) and accidental damage (AD) analyses that
you can perform in this database.
Status Updates allows
you to record additional information
about the item that can be accessed during the analysis but will not appear
in the report output (e.g., reasons for certain decisions, status of the
analysis, etc.).
History Log is available only if
a history log has been activated at the project level. It opens the Record History Log window for the current
item and displays changes that have been performed for the item.
Save Locator Link creates a link
file (similar to a Windows shortcut) that provides quick access to
a specific item.
Reports allows you
to generate predefined structural analysis
reports in Microsoft Word.
Custom Reports allows you to generate
predefined reports in Microsoft Word
or Excel for any of the structural analyses in the current project.
Queries
allows you to search the project or database for the records that meet
your specific query criteria. The results
can be exported to Excel and you also have the option to save and reuse
queries.
Add
ED (Metals) and Add ED (Non-Metals)
add an Environmental Deterioration analysis
to the currently selected SSI.
Add AD
Analysis, Add AD (Metals) and Add
AD (Non-Metals) add an Accidental Damage
analysis to the currently selected SSI. The project
configuration determines whether the project will evaluate metallic
and non-metallic materials in the same analysis or evaluate them separately.
Add FD/SL Analysis
adds a Fatigue Damage analysis
to the currently selected SSI.
Delete Analysis deletes
the analysis tab that currently has focus in the Analysis panel. There is no undo for
delete.
Add New Material adds
a new material
to the currently selected ED (Metals) analysis or ED (Non-Metals) analysis.
Add Existing Materials allows you
to copy the properties from,
or link directly to, an existing material.
Edit Material allows you to change
the properties of the currently selected material.
Delete Material deletes
the currently selected material. There
is no undo for delete.
Add Task
adds a new structural analysis
task.
Add Existing Tasks
allows you to copy the
properties from existing tasks in the current project.
Edit Task allows you
to change the properties of the currently selected structural analysis
task.
Delete Task
deletes the currently selected task. There
is no undo for delete.
