Home Tab

The Home tab contains the following commands:

Clipboard

As with most Windows-based applications, data stored on the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.

Paste pastes the contents of the Clipboard into the current item or record.

Cut cuts the selected text to the Clipboard.

Copy copies the selected text to the Clipboard.

Copy Analysis and Paste Analysis allow you to copy and paste the analysis (functional failure analysis, structural analysis or zonal analysis) that currently has focus in the Analysis panel.

Delete Analysis deletes the analysis that currently has focus in the Analysis panel. There is no undo for delete.

Edit

Delete deletes the selected item or record and all associated data. There is no undo for delete.

Spelling allows you to automatically spell check the properties of the item that is currently selected in the system/structural/zonal hierarchy. If you want to use spell check for the records in the F-F-E-C hierarchy, use the command that appears in each separate record properties window.

Find and Replace allows you to find or replace specified text within the current project.

Working Group

Current Session Stamp opens the Current Session Working Group Stamp window where you can view/modify the working group information that will be applied automatically to any item that you edit during the current session.

Hierarchy Defaults

Manage ATA Chapters opens the Manage ATA Chapters window where you can define the systems and subsystems that are available for use in the database.

Manage Major Zones is available only in MPC Plus. It opens the Manage Major Zones window where you define the zones and major sub-zones that are available for use in the database.

Synthesis

Launch Application provides a drop-down list of the other ReliaSoft desktop applications that are installed on your computer. When you click an icon, the same database will automatically be opened in the new application.
