As discussed in Pi Process Factors: Entity and Process Audits, when you use a saved process audit to set a Pi Process factor in a FIDES analysis, the calculation will be based on the process contribution weights that have been defined for the particular prediction folio. The weights recommended by the FIDES standard will be defined by default for each new prediction folio that you create; however, it is possible to adjust the weights for a particular prediction folio if desired.
To view/edit the weights that are currently in effect for any particular prediction folio, open the folio and then choose Prediction > FIDES > Process Contributions.
Click inside the Contribution column to edit the weights. The sum of all weights will be displayed in the last row. If this value does not equal 100%, you won’t be able to save the changes.
If you want to reset the percentages to the default values that are recommended by the FIDES standard (i.e., the same process contributions that are used to calculate the grade in the Process Audit window), click Reset.
Note: After you have used a saved process audit to set a Pi Process factor in a FIDES analysis, the value in the prediction will not be updated automatically if you later modify the process audit and/or the process contribution weights that are defined in the prediction folio. To update the value, you must either reset the property (by selecting the saved process audit again) or use the Update Factors command to update all calculated values in the current folio. (See Update Factors.)
