BlockSim and RENO both use diagrams of various types. These diagrams differ in terms of their purposes and capabilities, but all of the diagram types have underlying similarities in how they are created and configured.
The topics in this section provide general information about the diagrams and the tools available for creating them, including:
Techniques for building diagrams.
Using the Block Properties window.
Tools for configuring diagrams to look the way you want them to.
More specific information about the individual diagram types is available in other sections of the help.
If you're interested in using reliability block diagrams and/or fault trees:
The BlockSim RBDs and Fault Trees section discusses the tools that are common for both analytical and simulation diagrams (such as block types, configuration types, tools for managing the properties for all blocks within a particular diagram, etc.).
The BlockSim Analytical Diagrams section discusses the analysis results and plots that are available for analytical RBDs or fault trees.
The BlockSim Simulation Diagrams section discusses the analysis results and plots that are available for simulation RBDs or fault trees.
If you're interested in phase diagrams, see BlockSim Phase Diagrams.
If you're interested in Markov diagrams, see BlockSim Markov Diagrams.
If you're interested in process flow simulation (PFS) diagrams, see BlockSim Process Flow Simulation Diagrams.
If you're interested in using flowcharts for probabilistic event and risk analysis, see RENO Flowcharts.
